Films, RAD and Chlms

Two Films: Saw two films, The Child I Never Was and Starsky & Hutch. Nothing much to report, really. Totally uninterested.

Remember CMRA/RAD Fiasco? Last May and June, I warned about RAD/CMRA's management with 2005 RAD Conference. The decisions that were made by the RAD Board and CMRA Committees about many things has virtually left the organization with no cash to pay for deaf/blind interpreters/SSPs amongst few other things. In fact, the RAD Board forced the CMRA to cover the hotel expenses, conference fees for them as well as some top-notch CMRA committees. The result is that the money ran out, considering the fact that Grand Hyatt Hotel is expensive to start with. The RAD Board and the RAD 2005 Committee conveniently exonerated themselves of the financial mismanagement and left the CMRA to absorb the debts and clean the mess in the process.

What did I say in the first place? I warned y'all. When it comes to the plans with conferences, I am familiar with it. I used to be the Chairperson of Jr. NAD Eastern Regional Conference and I steered throughout the storms and guess what? We still had thousands of dollars left. Not only that the conference ended up having the largest group of delegates in years in 1991. How? Creativity. This particular group of 2005 RAD Conference Committee lacked an iota of common sense. And now, the CMRA has to deal with the mess that Bill Terrell and Ricky Drake, along with Bob Donaldson and Barbara Hathaway, has left upon the CMRA.

I knew of several committee members who said that they will absolve their hands when the conference ended, because they do not care about the organization whether if they owed or not. "Not my problem, it's theirs!" One word: Childish. But it reflects what kind of persons they are. Yeah, that includes Larry Gray.

American Greed At Best: Jesus Fucking Christ.

On A Bright Note: Here is the picture of my fag hag and her family. Great pictures is it?

I am still finding it hard to believe that Eddie is with Stacey. I guess when I see them in person, I'll get used to the fact that they are together.

Anyway, I love this picture -- what Jon did was nuts. Jon is 6'6 tall and yet, he throws Zoe that far ... too freaky for me to handle.

You know, Matriarch Abrams is the mother anyone else would love to have. This woman moved the mountains and rivers to make sure that Chlms and Stacey gets what they needed in life. You know, Chlms once told me that her mother flinched when I verbally cussed at things in front of her. Chlms could not believe that I did in front of her. Well, Chlms is my fag hag, which means what? She is my confidante. I share pretty much everything to her, including my sexual conquests. So her mother was sitting on the dining table watching me giving Chlms the details of my sex life. At that time, I did not know her mother was actually watching what I was saying.

Later, Chlms told me that her mother could not believe that she "allowed" a guy like me to say in her house but that's OK, I'm cool in her book.

As for Patriarch Abrams, what do you expect from a country, rugged man from Arkansas? One time, he walked around me and poked me in my stomach. I winced and told him to stop. He muttered something I could not see nor heard. Matriarch Abrams could not believe what she heard and told Chlms and Stacey that he just muttered, "Pillsbury Boy".

He did it in very affectionate manner which means good thing, I guess.

When an opportunity arises, I'll head back to Arkansas just to aggravate the Abrams clan, just for heck of it.

Cheers,

More Stuff To Talk and Ponder

DeafSinglesConnection: Discrimination? My roommate was surfing this website, Deaf Singles Connection a while ago. He grinned and said, "Did you know that this particular website discriminated against gays and bisexuals?"

I shrugged because I did not care about that, though. He said, "They limited only to heterosexuals." I was surprised and surfed a little on it. It is apparent true. It is not gay-friendly.

Umm. I stumbled upon some profiles which indicated that they are hearing ones looking only for Deaf persons. Interesting ...

Gallaudet Football: I learned that a certain well-known TV sports cable company is currently doing a documentary on Gallaudet football team this week. Apparently, Gallaudet has caught this particular company's attention after rolling to a 6-0 start. As soon as I get the information whether if they will be on tube, I will let y'all know. I'm confident that Coach Ed Hottle will keep the players' ego in check with two games to go.

Rene Portland Has To Go! Last week, I mentioned about Rene Portland, the Women's Basketball Coach at Penn State which drove many players who are Lesbians or perceived to be Lesbians off her teams. Rene has refuted the comments and denied that she discriminated. She claimed that Jennifer Harris was lazy and detrimental to the team -- never mind the fact that Jennifer Harris was the starter for Penn State 22 games out of 30 and was the 3rd leading scorer on the team.

It is nothing new with Rene Portland -- when she gets cornered by an accusation related to homophobia, she went on to attack one's integrity. That is what she has been doing for the last 25 years at Penn State. The culture of homophobia at Penn State has to stop. There was a rally organized by the students at Penn State who called Rene to resign. I agreed with the students. It seemed to me that if Rene said something about African-American or Jewish, she'd be immediately fired on the spot. But with gays, no problem, you can stall and dance around it.

You Think Cochlear Implant Is Cool?: Philip forwarded the message to me with a link to this picture. Gruesome. I have no desire to hear a sound, nor put things in my head. If you wanted to be borg-ized, it is your right to do so. I believe it was Christian who told me that he reads an article from Georgetown University which mentioned that if all Deaf people gets the implants, they are not qualified to be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act ... eventually, that is! I cannot find the article but it was said that if we have implants, we cannot demand the use of interpreters et al. I guess that is what they wanted all along.

Hat tip to Philip.

Regarding Bitch Session: This Friday, October 21st, is the deadline. Let's be hilarious instead of malicious. It is disheartening to post such unflattering but yet so angry comments towards certain few. If you have a beef on someone else, be creative with words.

Vienna for New Years Eve?! Thanks to Rico, a dear friend of mine from The Netherlands for the link. In Vienna, Austria, the organizers will host the New Year's Eve Bash. From what I understand, it is the largest of its kind in Europe. Hundreds of Deaf youths will flock to Vienna for three-day filled with parties on December 29 - January 1. After seeing the premise where the Bash will take place, I am determined to find a way to go to Vienna!

In order for you to view the advertisement, press gebardevideo and wait for it to load in order to watch two cute guys talking in their own language about the bash. Rico, if I'm in Vienna for these parties, will you be so kind enough to be the gracious host with me?

Cheers,

New Orleans To Palm Springs! The NAD Board has decided to move the 48th Biennial National Conference from New Orleans to Palm Springs on June 29-July 3, 2006. Palm Springs is famous for its brutal hot weathers during the summertimes. It is also the vaction spot for rich, famous persons and gay men.

On another note, why move it to Palm Springs instead of staying in New Orleans to help out with its local economy? The reports said that the city will be back to normal in March. The Conference is to be held in June and July.

Try This! I'm curious to know where the readers of this blog are from. Feel free to add yourself on it -- be sure to press return after 6 or 7 words because the post itself will expand itself if you do not press return. Otherwise, have fun doing this for me.

Wilma Is Category 5: In less than 24 hours, Wilma has gone from 75 MPH to 175 MPH, making it the dangerous storm on the same level with Katrina. Let's see if it will hold itself as it rolls onto Florida. Stay tuned.

Amusing Message Board: A certain friend told me to check the message boards about Nigeria Scams Using IP Relay. Some are offensive. It makes you wonder about the ethics on Communication Assistants'(CAs) part. Know what? When Deaf people asserted their rights, hearing people often viewed it as a "chip on our shoulders". That is cheap observation. If you do not like the fact that we assert our rights, get the fuck out of my face. Not only that, it is scary to know that the CAs are talking amongst each other about our information.

I would highly suggest the readers not to use the IP-relay.com ever again. Because they are talking and possibly using your sensitive information against you. For instance:
Seriously, some of you relay users don't even appreciate what you're given. And the ones of you who have been spoiled all their lives by people who took pity on you and did things for you just because you had "special needs" just sit there and whine and curse at us in your ASL gloss (which is actually sometimes pretty humorous) and complain when the fact is you're getting a free ride and need to be quiet.
Another example:
Seriously, how do you get the sheer guts to COMPLAIN about a service that is FREE??? For the price you pay for it, you're lucky if even HALF the words you type even make it to the person you are calling.

Some of the messages that were said on that board is very alarming, to say the least.

Review of Audism Unveiled

Guestblogger: McFly

Today was Enrichment Day at Gallaudet. For those of you who are unaware, it's an annual program for students, faculty, teachers, and staff on important current academic affairs' topics. Gallaudet hosts Enrichment Day to enrich themselves and the students in the exchange of knowledge. Gallaudet showed the movie "Audism Unveiled”.

Let’s talk about sensitivity.

The original movie, called “What is Audism?” was better and it was powerful. It actually moved people to tears and validated many deaf people’s pain of living with audism. This movie was too strong for the Gallaudet Administrators. I wonder what Kweisi Mfume, a well known and respected civil rights leader, would say about this?

A few years ago, Dirksen Bauman had his undergraduate students make a movie about the term audism for a semester project. The students labored relentlessly over this movie, blood, sweat and tears. They put their hearts, souls and pain on the line to create this beautiful movie in order to convey an imperative message. The students did this to make a difference and to contribute towards the betterment of deaf people’s lives. The students were responsible for creating this entire movie, from research to interviews, from start to finish. The Gallaudet Administrators had “What is Audism?” watered down to today’s movie “Audism Unveiled”.

Today's showing of “Audism Unveiled” was not the entire work of the students. It was the work of censorship.

To add further injury to insult, they had a speech and language pathologist Jimmy Lee open the movie.  Poor Jimmy Lee, shaking like a leaf while trying to sign.  It was appalling to see a speech language pathologist open this movie of a sensitive and long overdue topic, no offense to Jimmy Lee. It's akin to having a white person open a discussion about black oppression and racism. It showed lack of common sense, which tells me whoever made the decision to have a speech language pathologist open this movie has her/his heads so far up Dowanda Creek- it’s past the point of no return.

Too gain even more injury to insult, some hearing people who came to watch the movie were verbally talking during the movie.  I asked a hearing friend what they were saying, my friend said they were discussing lunch plans. It was a long discussion of lunch plans. Holy mother of Paul!

Deaf people used to get beatings on the hands with rulers when caught signing. They participated in the behavior of audism during the movie.  I'd say we slap these rude and ignorant hearing people with rulers on their mouths.

It was hard for me to take the Gallaudet Administrators seriously today. In the movie, Dwight Benedict talked about the DPN movement, the trust being violated and the damage it caused. I think our trust in the current Gallaudet Administrators has been violated. A violation we will not forget. We will continue to work on eradicating audism so there will be no need to show movies like “Audism Unveiled” in order to convey a message of our pain.

10.18.05 Tidbits

This Is It: Wilma is the last name on the official list. The Hurricane season has not ended. It will end in mid-November. Four more weeks to go. So what to do next? They'll use the Greek Alphabet like Alpha, Beta, Zeta. Wilma is in the Carribean Sea and it is slated to enter the Gulf of Mexico and from there, Wilma will visit Florida.

Abuse of EEO? I noticed that many corporations posted that they are supporter of Equal Employment Opportunity or Affirmative Action. They are lying. They only post it up to avoid the wrath of people in power. But other than that, if they had to hire a disabled person, they'll create a position where it is likely that they will not be able to climb up the ladder eventually.

I noticed the similar patterns -- I sent the resumes to non-profit organizations and for-profit corporations, non-profit organizations tend to respond whereas the latter one never did. I made a phone call to ask one corporation about this happenstance. They claimed that the volumes of resumes were high, and that may played a role in oversight the issue. They also mentioned that the experiences and qualifications are the ones they are after. Well, many Deaf persons lacked the means to gain the experiences in order to qualify. Why is that? Because they were largely denied and blocked out by hearing peers in a clandestine manner, thus making our lives difficult and impossible to get the fair competition in capitalistic society.

Ever wonder why deaf people preferred to work at deaf schools, non-profit organizations or even on Social Supplemental Income (SSI) instead of working with the corporations that claimed to build a bridge with disabled persons? Actually, they built a faulty bridge with many holes in it where disabled people attempted to cross the bridge only to fall through its holes. The point is that many viewed that life is short, why bother to fight? It is no wonder to point out that not many Deaf persons are millionaires, and many are living few feet away from the poverty line.

It is not about being lazy, it is about the invisible ceiling that they observed and gave up on that. Simply put. They viewed it as an obstacle and did not want to deal with it in the long run. For years, hearing people gets away with everything. They had the gall to mention that they support affirmative action and equal employment opportunity on their logos. It is absurd.

I'd love for a genuine bridge between two worlds but the way it works on hearies' side, it is extremely rare to see a big-time corporation to have one or several Deaf persons holding down an important position or even climb up the ladder. I dare you to name one from a big-time corporation like ABC, ESPN, CBS, NBC ... and no, cleaning staff does not count at all.

And there are bloggers, including DowntownLad, who claimed that capitalism is the way to go. It is misguided on his and many part, capitalism totally robbed us of our dignity, opportunity and pride from day one. It is not the option for us to deal with. Capitalism is not interested in making fair concessions to the people that deserved the chance to work and climb up the ladder, they are focused only on profits. They do not want to hire Deaf people because they are an obstacle -- or in their way of reaching their professional goals. In fact, they preferred to hire talking dogs than to hire Deaf person for an executive position.

In other words, when it comes to big-time corporations, hearies are scums. They are never to be trusted. At all.

Remember The Frozen Turkey Incident? Last November, I mentioned this and the frozen Turkey victim has something to say.

Donate $$ For The Trip? Merritt and I talked about this. I'm not sure if I can go to the District for Gallaudet Homecoming this coming weekend because of financial woes. But Merritt mentioned that many bloggers asked for donations to support them, and that I should do something about it as well. NO harm in asking about it. If you want to donate $ for the trip to the District and come back with lots of stories to share, feel free to get in touch with me via Ridor9th@gmail.com. And I'll give you the information on this, though. No pressures. Entirely up to you. $200 would be nice. With the Internet, anything is possible.

Best Statement from Someone Else -- And I Hate Mom!

On Sarah & Kaybee's fridge in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, there is a line that reads:

"It's not God that I don't like. It's his fan club that I can't stand."

Truer words were never spoken!

Will you ever find something like this in DC? I found this on Rocco's I Probably Hate You blogsite -- he played rugby but wrote one funny blog of his own. This is great picture. Someday it'd be nice to see this happen right after the college or professional football game -- after these hot, sweaty plays ... you know the guys that tend to relax before hitting the showers? That is the scene I'm talking about. So intoxicating.

Oh, by the way, Mom called via the videophone to tell me that she found out that one of my friends has HIV and that she does not permit my friend to visit my parents' house at all. Because she does not want him to touch her things in the house.

I told her that she should die immediately and I'll be more than happy to piss on her gravesite. There is nothing in the world that would make me happy by pissing on her gravesite for what she said about my friend.

She said that HIV originated from homosexuals. Mom said that the preacher from her Richmond First Baptist Church told her that "homosexuals started it all" and that she feels I am wrong and that she will make sure I'll never be part of my nephews/nieces' lives. How nice is that? What a compassionate fuck.

And some of you readers told me that I should respect my own Mother? Well, fuck y'all!

New York. Sophisticated. The Best.

Friday Night: Berna, Mona and Berna's father, Egil arrived around 9 PM. It was good to see Berna alive. Of course, we had to catch up with everything between Berna that Mona and Egil could barely get to follow up. But we were gracious enough to include them in our myriad of conversations, really.

You see, Berna, Mona and Egil are all from Norway. So they conversed frequently in its own Norwegian Sign Language that I cannot really follow at times. Sometimes I step back and watched Berna translating what I said to her father so that he could understand what I was trying to say. Man, I'm telling you, different sign languages are beautiful. I think it is condescending to assume that ASL is the most beautiful language. I think there are many beautiful sign languages around the world.

However, at one point, we went to Charlie Brown's Bar & Grill where the Deaf Professional Happy Hour took place in King of Prussia, a suburb of Philadelphia (In its region's sign for King of Prussia is: KING PUSSY. Which is tacky to say.). Many deaf people were conversing in the bar area -- we chose to dine in secluded area where we can just chat in private and all that. Shortly as Berna was talking, a deaf woman that we do not know who, peeked in our conversation -- it was rude. I turned on to her and asked nicely, "What's wrong?"

Let's say ... drama ensued to a point where Berna had to interfere and tells them to back off. One woman asked Berna where they came from. Berna said, "Norway." This dumb woman said, "Newport, RI!" What the fuck? Berna said, "NO! WE FROM NORWAY! EUROPE! WE ARE BUSY. BYE!" As they walked away (there were four of them), they were saying that we were rude. Here is the flash message, it is rude to watch us converse. Do it in a discrete manner. I do it, so can you.

Saturday: Before we hit the road to New York, Berna dropped the bombshell. She said, "Oh, by the way, we are not driving. You will drive around and show us the places in New York." The mode of transportation was white Ford Bronco SUV. It is big. And I am not surprised that some people mistook the SUV as OJ Simpson's white Bronco. So off to New York, we went.

I think the Norwegians were mighty impressed with what New York has to offer. Driving into the city was a cinch. Finding the parking for this big white SUV is problematic if you do not know where to park it. But lucky me, I know the tricks. We visited The Battery Park, Ground Zero (Again!), Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Chinatown ... then we had a dinner in East Village.

We stopped by Nowhere Bar, the site of Big Lug every Tuesday and I was greeted by the familiar bartender -- he recognized me and went out of his way to hug me and all that. River and I talked a little as Berna, Mona and Egil took the bathroom break. Berna came back. River is hearing fellow who can sign very little. His receptive skills are not that good, but that is OK. Berna said, "He's cute."

I said, "Really? I'll tell you outside about it."

Berna translated to Mona and Egil -- as I told River that it was good to see him again and we headed out to a restaurant on St. Marks Place. I smiled and said, "What do you think of River?"

Berna said, "He's cute punk."

I said, "He was she. FTM trannie. He used to want me but I wanted a real cock."

Berna stopped in her tracks and turned to Mona and Egil who were oblivious as Berna had to take a second to compose herself and told them as well. Only Egil shrugged as if nothing happened. I bumped into someone I knew at Dicks Bar as well. After dining, we wandered around Times Square and Midtown -- showed them these famous skyscrapers including Citigroup Tower, the Lipstick Building, Grand Central Station and its connections with MetLife Building. Blah, blah. Two hours late as scheduled, we got to Kaybee and Sarah's pad in Hell's Kitchen.

As we settled down in Kaybee's pad, Kaybee looked scruffy and tired. It was good to see her. Egil was too tired to go out as he decided to stay put while Berna, Mona and I headed out to few bars in Hell's Kitchen -- Posh and Barrage. Before we headed out for the night, Egil could not find his digital camera. We assumed it was in the SUV. I joked that I'll pick it up and if I get drunk, I probably will bash his camera to smithereens. Of course, he freaked out. WE went down to retrieve his camera -- but we could not find it. Berna found it under the SUV. It was flattened by the SUV's tire! Suffice to say, Egil said he forgot to put it away while he gets out of the SUV to help me steer the big SUV to park by the road -- somehow his digital camera fell on the street and I rolled the SUV on it. Bad karma. But nevertheless, he got a better digital camera the next day.

Berna, Mona and I went to POSH and BARRAGE and had nice drinks. We cracked jokes and all that. Typical scenario of a gay bar, really. We discussed the men's body language -- I told Berna that it is easy to identify which one was insecure when they grew up in elementary and high schools. These muscular guys tend to be the ones who are insecure -- they try to make out for what they lacked in their heydays. They are often the bottoms but tried so hard to act like they are man. All you have to do is to give them a joke, they screech like a girl. That is the cue.

We went back to Kaybee & Sarah's pad, Sarah was up and running. It was good to see Sarah. We went to the roof and relaxed around. They had the best view of Manhattan. They live on 11 Avenue facing the wide view of Midtown Manhattan. Absolutely stunning view. It was getting late ... had a long chat with Sarah.

Sunday: I was startled to learn that where Kaybee & Sarah lived is right next to the studio of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart! Kaybee mentioned that they just moved in last August. I'm a fan of that show. I'm a fan of Jon Stewart!

We had a delicious breakfast at Renaissance Diner on 9th Avenue and 52nd Street. Its shakes are something out of this world. Even for Norwegians, they went UMMMMMM and UMMMMM on these shakes. It's crazy. After that, we walked all the way through Times Square to get the digital camera for Egil. Soon after that, we saw NYC's Naked Cowboy taking the pictures with some female senior citizens. They were groping him. Only in New York, I sighed.

Egil insisted that we have to check the Empire State Building before he flew back to Bergen, Norway. Try to find that town if you can. It took about two hours to get to the 86th floor. The variety of walks around Midtown from 11 AM To 6 PM took its toll on our feet. On 86th floor, it was brisky, clear and very windy.

After visiting Harlem and Central Park, it was time to leave the city as I maneuvered through the streets of New York -- they were kind to me as we left the city en route back to Philadelphia.

It was good to see Berna again. I had a good time with Mona and Egil. For 27 hours, I hope they had a blast time in New York with my guide. I feel New York is the only place I wanted to go back when the time is right. And I will be back.

On a side note, after talking with Berna, Kaybee and Sarah, I may undergo a massive change in a short time. Only time will tell, readers. And after all, it is for me to know and for you to find out much later.

Cheers,

Tidbits for the Weekend of October 14 - 16!

Gallaudet Now 6-0! With Head Coach Ed Hottle pulling all the tricks, Gallaudet snapped 7-game losing streak against Williamson Trade School with a 33-24 triumph. For the first time in school history, club-status or not, Gallaudet is 6-0 with two games left, including versus SUNY-Maritime for Homecoming Day on 22nd of October. The way the team has been playing, they are slated to finish the season 8-0 and is in good shape to return to the Division III status. The truth is that they defied my expectations. And I'm humbled by that. Way to go, Gallaudet Griddlers!

Another Flick: I saw The Wedding Date last Friday evening. Delmot Mulroney played as a male escort which ended up falling in love with Debra Messing after making an arrangement that he acted as her boyfriend while they went to a wedding event in London. Delmot has nice ass, I'm telling you.

Virginia Hoops Begins: In Charlottesville and across the nation, many college basketball teams has begun to practice for the 2005-06 season. But in Charlottesville, this is special -- it is the final season of University Hall, its gymnasium for the last 20 plus years. I attended more than 100 games at University Hall. I'd say that more than 90 percent of the games I attended, Virginia won. However, next season, they will play in a brand-new gymnasium at John Paul Jones Arena. Of course, this season will be special because it'd invoke many memories and drama with many teams ...

Again, Virginia Did This!: A day after the basketball practices began, Virginia Cavaliers football team did the improbable thing -- they upset No. 4 Florida State Seminoles 26-21, marked the second time that Virginia gets to beat Florida State in 10 years.

Interested To Check Deaf Person's Art Shows? A friend of mine, Darren Schledt, told me that his works will be shown at two galleries in Richmond on November 4, 2005 at 7 PM. It will be held at 23 West Broad Street in Richmond. As for another show on November 11 & 12, 2005 at a local gallery on 4009 Fitzhugh, Street in Richmond.

Ooh, Two?! A little bird informed me that there are two Deaf guys in Washington, DC that works as male stripper at a local gay bar in DC called Secrets. One is current student at Gallaudet, one is not. More power to them.

Up next is The Improvised Trip to New York, of course!

Cheers,

DailyKos, Ed Hottle, Flick & New York

A certain bird told me to check DailyKos.com which is one of the popular blogs in this world -- averaging more than 750,000 viewers per day. I averaged more than 300 per day. I learned that a certain friend of mine, Surdus also known as Joseph Rainmound gets his stuff printed on that website. It is titled This Democrat's Deaf.

It got printed this morning at 8:40 AM and already got 116 comments and counting. This is going to piss McWeenie and Whale Fatterson a lot. Good. Way to go, Little Joe! Congratulations!

And as I checked around, I was surprised to get a message from Gallaudet Football Head Coach, Ed Hottle. He has something nice to say to me about my blog regarding the football team.
Good morning,

I wanted to take a second and thank you for all of your support. I truly feel you are helping the team with the positive blogs and getting the word out that we are changing the football culture at Gallaudet. It is my wish, one which I am fully committed to, that we put Bison Football on the map nationally. We have been very fortunate and enjoyed some early success. We still have a long way to go and with the help of loyal supporters such as yourself we can make this change and sustain our success for many years to come. Its is my goal to build a program that alums can be proud of. The more the word gets out the easier it will be to recruit quality student athletes. Recruiting is gold in college football and your help is greatly appreciated. Also I think it important that folks know how big the Homecoming game is for our program. We are playing a Division 3 opponent and we will need all the crowd support we can muster up. Any assistance you can give in this area would be appreciated also. Thanks again and I am looking forward to meeting you.

Ed Hottle
Head Footbal Coach
Gallaudet University
Thanks, Ed Hottle! Good luck with the progress.

It is about time that Gallaudet has great good-looking coach in any sport, don'tcha? It is certainly nice surprise to get a response from him like that.

Another Flick: Saw Hide and Seek, it was okay. No big deal.

Yeah ... : For one day, I'll streak to New York with Berna, her father and her girlfriend on a sightseeing tour -- I'll be their tour guide in Manhattan on Saturday. Of course, I will pull them into East Village. It will be very short day for me. I doubt that I'll have the time to meet friends in New York on my own. But I know it will be good to be back in the city.

Cheers,

Savage & Giordano!

Wanna See Dan Savage? I got an email that Dan Savage will be in the District on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Olsson's Bookstore (418 7th Street NW) -- perhaps I will be there to greet, kiss, grope and hug him. I am a certain huge fan of Dan Savage's books and articles.

What do I describe his opinions? Exhilarating! Dan Savage wrote Skipping Towards Gomorrah, Savage Love: Straight Answers from America's Most Popular Sex Columnist, The Commitment : Love, Sex, Marriage, and My Family, The Kid : What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant. Not only that, he is the Editor of The Stranger, a great liberal newspaper in Seattle. Is that all? No. He is also the Sex Columnist for several publications but mainly for The Stranger.

And he is so gay as can be, yet many straight folks relied him to answer the questions related to both worlds' sexual interests. I certainly trust his judgment over Dear Abby or Dotti for all I care!

If I cannot make it to the District, someone has to make out with him for me!

Unlike Most ...: Last night, I get to watch "A Lot Like Love". About time, I know, Ty never told me to check it -- just told me that he's in it. I asked few things about him working with Ashton. He mentioned that he taught Ashton how to sign this, that and there. And that Ashton was "cool" and "fun" to work with.

Then I finally watched it last night. You know, most hearing actors attempted to sign -- you could tell that their style of signings were pretty croppy and robotic. Totally barf and unattractive. I was surprised to see Ashton signing it ... in very casual manner. As if he knew how to sign for years.

And Ty? Well, I cannot really judge him. I just smiled each time I see him on the film. I mean, I'm so happy for Ty. I'm so thrilled -- despite the fact that many of you think I was pretty negative person to start with -- I am truly happy for Ty to do what he wants in life. Generally, the film is alright as can be. But I like it.

Oh, Ashton's ass is so hot. Ty, if Ashton invited you to his private party, can I be your chaperone?

UPDATE! I am well aware that Ty's next film is called "The Family Stone". I saw the trailer. Ty gets to work with Craig T. Nelson, Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Delmot MulRoney, Rachel McAdams and Luke Wilson. What a great cast!

I always thought Luke and Delmot were irresistible.

The trailer looks good and funny. I'm still trying to adjust the idea that my good friend is in these films. I cannot help but smile each time when I see him pop up on the screen. Check the trailer. Hat tip to Dylan!

Clarification: I got an email from a concerned hearing person who felt that I was vicious towards hearing people in general. Well, let's pay attention to this -- Dr. Zager is cute. Ashton is hot. Can they hear? Yes! There are many good hearing persons (I preferred men, though), but there are MANY idiotic and appalling hearies out there.

I was not born to educate, tolerate and put up with their craps. I chose not to go what many ones took the path, to educate something that they'll never learn! I rather to blast them to smithereens and this way, I'll wash my hands off on this subject but on the other end, they'll never forget it for a while.

But in person, I do not do that all the time. I am more reserved in person. I am more laid-back and easygoing person. I think many of my friends can confirm that. I used to be assertive in making friends. Now I do not. I am content with what I have. Of course, there are always room to make new friends. I'm pretty much flexible as can be.

I tend to smile when I get emails from unknown people because it is nice to see their responses. No, I do not bite. What I said on the blogsite does not mean that I do it in person all the time. It takes a lot of ignorance for me to snap at a hearie. But it does happen from time to time. Otherwise, be yourself, fellas.

Cheers,

AIM Virus & Rocky VI

AIM VIRUS! I apologized if some of you got these annoying IMs which gave you the link to some places -- it was not my doing. My roommate clicked on his friend's IM on this computer. It somehow gets on all of us' buddy lists and fired away on to others.

I had been trying to fix it, locate the problem (windoze.exe) -- I had been trying to use spybot, ad-ware and aimfix.exe to stop it. But it kept on coming back. I'm going insane. If anyone has the suggestion shorter than to format the Windows XP, do tell me.

Thanks in advance!

Just Saw This: When I saw this, I groaned. I know folks will groan and Roy Weintraub will have his first orgasm in years. This is perhaps the saddest news for me -- I never liked nor advocated the boxing as a sport.

Confidential to Jay (Not Bunnag!): Jay, stop IMming the little boy or you'll go back to the prison as deserved!

Ballroom?! A friend gave me the link to Gallaudet Homecoming Weekend. I checked it out. Then I glanced at the word that made me cringe the most: Ballroom.

According to dictionary.com, a ballroom is:
n. A large room for dancing
I repeatedly told many people that it is a fucking room! It is a fucking room! The proper word is Ball!!
n. A formal gathering for social dancing.
So if you want to call this event, it is supposed to be Xotic Ball, not Xotic Ballroom! Get this right just for once! Argh!! This is the word that demonized me for years at Gallaudet. And today, they're still calling it Ballroom?!

Did You See Kung Fu Hustle? I cried so hard. That movie is so hilarious. The snappy words and body language on each other throughout the film were so funny that I could not stop howl with heavy fits of laughters. It was entertaining to watch the Landlady doing these acts and yet, still maintained that damned cigarette in her mouth! It was crazy film.

What made me feel good about the movie is that during the film, there was a deaf female character that showed up in the film and was ganged up by not-so-nice hearing boys -- unfortunately for us, the Chinese referred her as "mute" -- which the hearing boy tried to rescue but was beaten and urinated by these boys. The Deaf female immediately liked this guy -- the beaten boy fled the scene afterwards. Years later, she found him. It was so cool to see a hero going out with a deaf woman.

UP next is ... "A Lot Like Love" performed by Ashton Kutcher and none other than my dear friend, Tyrone Giordano!

I Must Talk About Sex, Right? Reports are streaming out of Minneapolis that the professional football players up to 25 players engaged in a raucous party that involved masturbation, oral sex et al -- the party was supposed to last 3 hours but it was cut short when the crew members freaked out when the party became out of control -- now, people are not asking why but they wanted to know who's who attended the party ... !

UPenn Athlete Dead: Today, Kyle Ambrogi, U of Penn football player, committed suicide after a long period of depression. It was said that many knew that he had the problems with depression. Well, I suspected it has something to do with ...

Well, I was in a chat room filled with men. I saw one screenname that says: UPenn Closeted Athlete ISO Friends -- I'll see if it is still there. If not, it has to be Kyle.

Is this common? Unfortunately, yes.

Boy, Dr. Zager Is Hot!

Today, I went to see the doctor for some check-up with my "ears" because the last time I had the audiology test was in '91. That is 14 years ago.

So off to see Dr. Zager, I drove through the rainy streets to that specific location. I hate the feeling of Audiology Clinic, really! It is so creepy. These attitudes on these receptionists' face reads: "Let me fix you up!"

My left ankle is still sore from turning it over last Sunday evening. So I limped a little and reached the front desk. I picked the pen out of its penholder thing, I asked for the paper pad. The receptionist at the front desk seems to be in her 60s or so, she tried to use her voice to talk. I shook my head and said in gesture to indicate that I want a paper pad. She declined and she pulled the file and showed me the name of someone else. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. She went to get another file then did the same thing. I nodded that it was mine. She gestured me to sit down. I sighed and asked for the paper pad in gesture, she shook her head and pointed to the chair behind me.

I signed so fast that she'll never forget it -- "SOMEBODY SHOULD PUT A HOLE IN YOUR FUCKING FACE!" All the time, I was smiling like nothing happened.

I'm sure she will never figure out what I said to her face. Then I sat and waited for the "appointed hour".

Then I was led to the room. Waited. Waited. Then Dr. Zager came in, I was bit startled. He smiled. He tried to speak. He's very young. Very cute. Very masculine. And has brown hair. Has glasses. I quickly scoped out his hands to see if there is a committment ring. Nope at all. He looks like my close friend! He laughed when I said no to some questions related to speech/hearing. He asked me why I was jumpy. I told him that it's creepy to look at him because he reminded me of Todd Newman, really. He laughed out loud.

Then we resumed back to this professional thing. Dr. Zager asked me if I can speak -- I laughed and said, "Only in one language -- gibberish." He chuckled and instructed me to go downstairs to have my audiology tests.

Blah, blah. My last time in '91, my left ear's db was 45. My other ear was 95. Today, they told me that both ears are way over 110 db. Yes, you got it! I'm DEAF as can be.

At first, I asked the Audiologist to tell me what dbs for my ears? She said to talk with Dr. Zager. Then Dr. Zager seemed to be "sad" and wrote down that my ears are now profoundly Deaf. I smiled like Hell. He looked at me as if I was nuts.

Little did he knew ...

for I am the Deaf Gay Militant.

Hear me roar. And I will never hear you roar!

10.12.05 Tidbits

JetBlue & AirTran Are Cool: These companies are making it easy on our budget to fly around. I can just pay $59 to fly to Richmond from New York via JetBlue. I can just pay another $49 from Philadelphia to Richmond via AirTran. Maybe Chinatown Bus Services will be no more for me. Hell, they said that it'll cost $25 from New York to Boston! Not bad.

DeafAmerica! Do your part! This is extremely cool. Hat tip to McFly!

Rene Portland Is Homophobe: 15 years ago in March, 1990. Unranked James Madison Dukes came to State College to play No. 1 Penn State Lions in front of sold-out crowd. Penn State opened with a 24-9 lead, but the Dukes kept on hanging around 'til the half, 41-29. Then in the second half, the Dukes roared to the greatest upset in history of the NCAA Tournament, knocked No. 1 Penn State 73-71 out of the NCAA Tournament in the first round.

Meanwhile, there was a small protest outside of Penn State's gymnasium against whom? Rene Portland. Because she made a comment to the local newspaper that she does not permit Lesbians to remain on her team. Shortly, Rene recanted and apologized. But the game overshadowed the protest 15 years ago. I always suspected that Rene is homophobic, even as of now. I knew of a PSU fan who claimed that Rene changed.

Last season, after Penn State lost to Liberty in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, she dismissed Jennifer Harris from the team. Jennifer Harris transferred to James Madison and has to sit out for a year in order to play on another team as per by the NCAA rules. Why was she dismissed from the team? Because Jennifer is Lesbian. Now the National Center for Lesbian Rights is doing something about it.

Shame on Rene.

Dull Day, Is It?

Today is very dull day, I thought I'd entertain you with three things:

This picture -- I found it on in my picture box -- and I decided to match them around and play with the photo shop -- these pictures were taken in Seattle at some Mexican restaurant. Click on the picture to enlarge if you want to.

Jason, Phil, Mark, Merritt, Toby and Manny

On another hand, the UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund dedicated to advance humanity by working with the youth of Today, posed an advertisement that received lots of attention amongst the bystanders in Paris, France. Apparently, the UNICEF tried to reach the bystanders that wars destroyed people's lives. And I saw the poster -- I really loved it. Click the picture to enlarge.

Youw, the village of Smurfs has only one female and the rest are males. And the males sleep together. Think about it.

Now on the last thing, my sister had an entry that brought some memory of mine with Mom's cat named Garland. Garland is perhaps our family's favorite cat of many -- Homegirl ranked very close with Garland these days. When Garland died, Lily was so upset that she used the drawing to counsel herself. Check the entry of my sister's blog. Oh, yeah, be sure to view the trailer of Lily's drawing as well.

Tidbits for 11th of October

Curiosity Killed The Cat, Of Course! Frances was curious. And curiosity swallowed Frances.

Gallaudet News: All day long, I was paged by about 7 or 8 different persons telling me that Gallaudet has had enough of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity's antics so far -- many of 'em said the fraternity is officially suspended, inactive or closed down for good. Maybe Scott Bradley has something to do with it -- jumping out of 3rd floor from the Chapter room, running from the DPS like an illegal immigrant did when they run across Rio Grande River last week.

McWeenie Is At It Again! He just wrote an entry, criticized DPN Movement and according to what he said, he claimed to be there. He probably was hiding in his bedroom, terrified that someone would beat up on him. Good. And no, I ain't link to him because his blog is not worth the shit to check out.

Earthquake Is Natural! Millions of years ago, India was aligned with Africa but it breaks and move slowly northward while Asia moves westward. Suddenly, it collided. And that is why we have the highest mountains in the world that can be found in China, Nepal, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan! Each year, the tectonic plate pushed India against Asia an inch or two, forcing the Asia ground to go up. No, it is not the sign of EndTimes as you wish!

Oh, By The Way ...: Sodom and Gomorrah probably was not destroyed by God or whatever people wanted you to believe. Some theorized that the cities were sitting on a fault that also has natural gas under the cities. Of course, when the earthquake struck, the ground grinds, and you get BOOMs! I agreed with that theory. If homosexuality is the reason why they destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, how come Lot fucked his daughters right after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Think about it! (slap your head!)

On Comedy Channel ... : I enjoyed watching SOUTHPARK and INSOMNIAC at times. During an episode of INSOMNIAC in New Orleans, the host gets to ride with the officials in shooting the nutrias in the canal system. I was puzzled. What the fuck is Nutria? It turns out to be a rodent that is very destructive to the Wetlands of Louisiana. It originated from South America. So they used the shotgun to blast the Nutrias in the darkness. It was weird watching the host laughing out of his mind when the official blasted the Nutrias to smithereens.

Anything That Window Media Owned Sucks! Window Media owned Washington Blade and New York Blade. I cannot stand Chris Crain, first and foremost of all. He thinks he's above anyone else. I snickered when some Moroccans plummeted him in Amsterdam. Chris Crain refused to admit that Ken Mehlman is faggot. Chris Crain hired Jeff Gannon to be the Columnist for Washington Blade. I'm like, "Gross, shoot him already!"

Anyway, Washington Blade annoucned the winners for Bars/Clubs in DC, this time they got readers to vote and the editors to pick:

JonJon Battles treated me like normal which I appreciated very much.

Italics are my comments, if you cannot figure it out by now.

Few Things To Point Out ...

Today, I went to OutFest, a gay event that celebrated the National Coming Out Day on October 11, 2005. At some point, the railroad elevated right above many buildings, provided the means to view the skyline of Philadelphia from distance. It also gave you the means to observe the rooftops that people would put on. At an abandoned building, you can see the refrigerator, stove and grocery cart sitting on the rooftop. I wonder what was the purpose of this after all?

I did not really enjoy the OutFest mainly because of few reasons but things like this is normal by any standard, I guess. HOw do I describe the OutFest? Let's imagine "gay pride block party" not during the summertime, but in fall season. No sexy underwears or naked torsos anywhere else. Everyone pretty much wore the casual jeans with sweaters. I saw one trannie with boobs, it was unbelievable huge. In fact, "she" literally bent down her back because her boobs are so enormous. She had the cane to help her move around. Eww.

I twisted my left ankle once again. C'est la vie. Too many people to converge in one setting is not my thing. I think I have claustrophobia when it comes to too many people. Speaking of people, I think New York is still the best in terms of diversity.

Whale Fatterson Is Still Retard: Whale Fatterson on a certain forum claimed that he was the instrument in making me taking "terrorist" off from the line on the top of my blogsite "The world's one and only blog reserved for the legendary Deaf Gay Militant [Terrorist]". If he wants to take the credit for something that is not true at all, then so be it.

Actually, I had a conversation with a hearing friend of mine in New York. He is a blogger as well. He and I had a frank discussion about the prospects of this blog going big-time with huge readership from the Deaf Community in general. He thought it was amusing that I put GDMT on the line, but there was a concern about the new readers coming in, especially with hearing people that might feel threatened by the word. I gave it a consideration and agreed with my friend and took it out.

And Whale Fatterson wanted to take the credit for this? Please. That fat guy claimed that he made a call to the Department of Homeland Security about the so-called "terrorist" comments. Guess what? Obviously, they did not take the fat guy seriously since they never got in touch or check with me at all.

Let's face this, McWeenie and Whale Fatterson, I averaged 320 readers per day, your blogs cannot even hit 50 per day. I provide the best source for others to rely on and laugh. It is entertainment! It is flattering that they came back to read more, poke fun and whine about different issues. But to post on the forum to whine about me is silly. To get the ideas about who I am is silly. To question about the mental status is silly.

Nancy, you do not know who I am. Sherry, to claim that you have gay friends but yet is against gay rights is not compatible at all. It is a fad among the anti-gay fellows to make these ridiculous statements. McWeenie, you think you're competing against me. In fact, I'm 8 times better than you and still growing. Mizhko, you get a life of your own, cease and desist your whiny comments about my blogsite.

To address the "respect" comments that some readers were appalled that I made fun of my parents occasionally on my blog. First of all, they do not respect me as gay man, instead -- they refuse to respect my wishes, they insist to test my beliefs, they push my boundary lines. In turn, why should I even pay an iota of respect for them? I reserve the right to make fun of 'em if I want to. Don't throw hypocrisy in my face.

Ahh, yes, thanks for visiting my blogsite.

I Was Right! Remember what I said about Xians' Doom Crapola? Here is the latest link. Guys, look busy when He comes.

Only 3 Arrested? This is travesty. Beating up on 64 years old drunkard?! C'mon. Only 3? Look at the cop riding on the horse, he was trying to protect his officers by obstructing the view of camcorder. They should arrest and charge everyone else that was involved with this fiasco. This just proved that they are pigs. Never trust a cop at all.

Related to a pig, here is another article where Deaf man was roughed up by cops in Canada.

Hurricane Vince Heading Where? To Portugal and Spain, believe it or not. This is very odd one. Normally, the hurricanes followed the current from east to west like the clockwise, but this one is heading into Portugal. Portugal is battling its worst forest fire in years due to its worst drought ever. With trees dead, having a tropical storm coming in is not going to give Portugal a break, in fact, it will create massive mudslides. Stay tuned, though.

Wow, Gallaudet Is Now 5-0! Gallaudet, under the tutelage of hot coach in Ed Hottle, Gallaudet beats Wesley JV 29-19 to improve the season at 5-0 with 3 games left to go. Not bad for a first-year coach! With the win, the football team is assured of its first winning season in many years.

It is safe to say that at Gallaudet Homecoming Day, people will WATCH the game instead of chatting with friends right next to the Hotchkiss Field. I'm pretty impressed with Ed Hottle. I mean, he got the players to believe that they can win. The scores, I think, proved itself.

And a friend of mine mentioned that Ed Hottle was aware that I wrote several entries about how hot he is. And his response was charming but unexpected. He chortled to his buddy, "Now I got a wife and gay guy that thinks I'm hot, you got any?"

Priceless. Perhaps, for the first time in a long time, Gallaudet has found the gem in Ed Hottle. For a long time, Gallaudet Athletics has been a place where women are champions, but men are pigs. But the trend may have a positive change in the long run for Gallaudet Athletics. Well done, Gallaudet Griddlers!

Update About Our Brave Soldiers! Remember this entry that I wrote few weeks ago. Here is the update of the person who owned the forum that traded nude pictures to the soldiers for dead Iraqis pictures. Sempfer Fi! Not.

Boy George Busted: In New York, Boy George called the cops because his place was burglarized. Then the cops found several grams of coke. Boy George claimed that he hosted lots of friends that come and go, one of them dropped it off or something else. He could be right. Knowing Little Italy, Lower East Side and East Village, getting coke is akin to buy a bottle of Milk, really. I saw him several times in New York bars, he cannot hang out on his own. He must have friends with him all the time. Maybe insecure? Maybe not. Not my type, he happened to be good friends with some friends that I occasionally met for drinks. He made me cringe at times, though.

Stupid Mother Of the Year: In Austin, Darren Gay and Donald Bockman are going to the prison for 6 years. Why? They beat up on a slender gay guy then sexually assaulted him as well. Why did this happen? Darren Gay was furious that this victim made a sexual advance on his younger brother, Glen Gay. The irony part is that Darren and Don used the Bible to pass the judgement, then sexually assaulted him!

And Dawna Gay, the mother of Glen and Darren, said: "This is my beloved son, and know I'm very proud of you."

Dawna Gay wins the Stupid Mother of the Year Award. But that is to be expected from fellas in Texas.

Cheers,

Be Proud of Yourself!

Laurent Clerc died on July 18, 1869. That is roughly 136 years ago. It is no question that in 15 years, his death will be 150th Anniversary. Of course, I'll be there to honor this magnificent man of our history in the making.

Laurent Clerc, the First Deaf Teacher FOR the Deaf

Don't let it be ... a period of mourning! Let it be the period of celebration. If not for Laurent Clerc, where will we be? Let's face this .. we won't be here without this man, Laurent Clerc.

It is too bad that not many people in this world outside of "Deaf World" gets to appreciate a person like Laurent Clerc.

Look at this website, Washington & Lee University. Let's be serious -- George Washington *never* met Robert Lee and yet, they got named to the same university! And yet, our own fucking university preferred a fucking hearing guy over a deaf guy -- let's be fucking realistic -- do you truly think Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet would be successful without Laurent Clerc?

Two words: Fat chance.

How do we change this? Let's use this as an example ...

This Is The Place To Celebrate!

Why did I choose this picture? This was taken from a Broadway play called "RENT" -- which hits my chord at some point, but the idea remains the same, we are to celebrate who we are! Fuck the world and step outside and holler that you're fucking Deaf as can be!

Cheers!

Pictorial Galore!

Don't lie. Who shopped at JcPenney? I do not shop them -- actually, I probably bought some stuff twice or thrice in ten years from that store.

But I have a pop quiz for you. I'm going to post a picture of the first, original store of JcPenney in North America -- your duty is to find where it is located at. No cheating via the websites. I know the answer because I was there! In fact, I stood outside of my car and watched the area. I snapped the picture and grinned at the idea that this original building of JcPenney is right next to "Triangle Club" in midst of NOWHERESVILLE!

Can you identify the town? Each time I looked at the photo -- I always stared at that bar on the right? The population of the town is ... 2,567.

And yet, JcPenney conquered the fucking world!

Enough With JcPenney Shit: Next with this picture, willja?

Well, this picture is very interesting. Erik and I accomodated with Erik's aunt to Coral Gables, just south of Miami -- and she ordered us to step backwards into the grounds that is very ... wet. In fact, when I smiled, I can feel my feet sinking. And Erik was putting on his best smile because we were sinking so fast. Lucky for his aunt, she flashed this great picture before we ran off from that site.

Cool, is it?

Oh, by the way, the picture is ... about 9 years ago. How sad, is it? I miss Erik very much. Even if we had arguments, I love him. He has to be the most funniest person I ever hung out with. Sigh.

The Origins of Mordru

Image hosted by Photobucket.comWhen I was 8, Amethyst was "officially" killed by DC Comics because she was too "much" for them to handle -- after all, she is powerful than Superman or Green Lantern and she is only female! That does not sit well with the majority of readers who are ... male.

But the storyline was not done. So Keith Giffen, thank God that he has the sense of finalizing things on his end, tied her with a comic book series called Legion of Super-Heroes to ensure that Amethyst will never be forgotten. How? In LSH series, there are many planets that became the charter members of United Planets, among them are The Sorcerers' World. Keith went on to explain that 1,000 years in the past, The Sorcerers' World was ... Gemworld.

However, Mordru was a thorn on LSH's list for years but he never managed to cross into the current era to wreck the universe as destined. Until Keith did the trick -- he introduced the origins of Mordru in ... Gemworld. How?

Amethyst's ex flame, Lord Topax had a son named Prince Wrynn. That boy wanted to taste the brunt of darkling powers. The omnipotent beings known as the Lords of Chaos granted his wish -- by doing that, Prince Wrynn's soul was destroyed in the process. The new entity replaced the body -- who else? Mordru!

By tying Mordru with Gemworld, Amethyst's existence will not be forgotten -- or my tattoo, at least!

Mordru failed to conquer Amethyst. By failing to do so, Amethyst savagely punished him by burying him alive for a thousand years. Mordru is an omnipotent being, he does not like to be restrained ... in fact, being restrained to a body is pretty much tasteless for him. In other words, he is claustrophobic -- the only way to stop him is to bury him alive, that would shut his mind down immediately.

He prefers to conquer everything and to remake it in his image. Let's face this -- Mordru is not even a human -- he was never born therefore he will never die. He is not a human at all. He is pure chronal energy infused with magic.

I like Mordru because he is pretty arrogant, funny, hilarious and tough guy to deal with. One guy complained, "Do you love to hear yourself talk that much, Mordru?"

Image hosted by Photobucket.comMordru shot back, "But talk is merely the bedfellow of my actions!" Then he blasted the complainant down just like that. That is my style. Just like me.

As an avid fan of comic books, I was bit annoyed that the Joker, Lex Luthor and few others that does not possess any powers beyond their intelligence and yet, they got more attention from the mainstream press ... Mordru's status was nonexistant. Honest to God, if Mordru faced Joker, he'd wipe him off the map before anyone could even blink an eye!

Thanks to a certain writer who loved Amethyst, he brought Mordru into the current storyline by infusing him into a comic book called JSA, ever since, he is doing great!

My dear friend confirmed that he bought JSA #78 and will deliver it to me by tomorrow when I meet him at a certain coffeehouse in Philadelphia, you don't know how excited I am to see Mordru to emerge from the fucking prison called the Rock of Eternity!

Mordru fucking rules!

Oh, yeah, Stephen Sadowski drew Mordru very well. I should find him and buy him a dinner or two in New York sooner or later!

Cheers,

Move Over, Brady Bunch!

Not a long time ago, I mentioned about Mom & Dad ... and that The Brady Bunch has nothing to compete with my family. I thought it was time for me to post the picture of my family in general. The pictures were taken in '96. That is nearly 10 years ago. Go figure. Most of us aged a little but you get the picture!

Enjoy.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I should mention that the top two on both sides are CODAs, the rest are Deaf. For hearing people that does not know what CODA stands for, it means Children of Deaf Adults.

This is one of several entries that I will post the pictures in few hours. Hopefully, you guys will enjoy this ... after all, you have the privilege to make fun of me in the process.

Yeah, Mom's birthday occurs today on 9th of October. Happy birthday, you douchebag.

Interlude Along With Tidbits

Last night, Mundey hosted a nice Halloween party. I had a good time. One thing that made me wince is that a certain fellow that I never liked was there. I was being cordial and all that, but he remained defiant. I told him to tell his sister that I said congratulations for her promotion as the Acting Principal at MSSD. He chortled something to an effect to acknowledge that he still regarded me as his enemy.

Whatever he wants to make himself feel better -- someone needs to prescribe him stronger doses of Ritalin.

Too bad, PJ left earlier and he won something from the raffle contest. But he has to be present in order to pick up. If PJ was there, he would be the only white person to pick up something from more than 15 prizes. Yes, nearly all of them were won by Latinos or African Americans! I blew about $10 on it and won nothing! :-(

And the bizarre part about the last prize, the DVD player, Kevin had an idea -- to dwindle down to 3 lucky tickets. Then someone has to pick two out of 3. Then in the last round, if someone pulled this particular ticket of two, that particular ticket is not the winner but the loser!

So you can see the sudden confusion when Jorge found his name to be the one that pulled out first -- he cheered while everyone said, "NO NO YOU LOST!"

Suffice to say, Jorge was pretty down on this afterwards.

Food? Lots of food were provided -- I had a good time partyin' with new faces and old faces.

Oh, yeah, Chris Cowden was there as usual. I mean, let's face this -- if Kevin Mundey dies, Chris Cowden will find a way to accomodate him somewhere in the afterlife, really. Of course, I'm joking but people knew that if Kevin is there, Chris has to be there. Case closed.

For two days in a row, the area has been drenched with the Remnants of Tammy. It is nice climate to mellow and catch up on lots of things around the apartment.

And yeah, the computer is back to normal. I managed to correct everything -- yes, I can access gmail or even porn websites. Whew. In fact, I called the Hewlett&Packard to talk about the computer issues via the videophone relay service -- guess who popped up as my VP interpreter? Chris Owens of Glimpse! At first, I recognized him and he grinned and after taking care of the issues, I get to chat with him about Beth. Nothing serious. But Chris is looking good -- too bad, on my end, I was not in mood to look "nice" for the VP, though. But it was good to see your face, Chris!

Few tidbits to check out:
GW Bush Is Demented: It was reported that several leaders from the Middle East said that GW Bush personally told them that God told him to invade Afghanistan and Iraq. Blah, blah. Sounds like a classic delusional Xian, is it? Since I'm on this subject, read this article by Bill Gallagher. It is interesting stuff. Hell, I'll throw in some more as well.

Wake Up, Xian Freaks! Know what annoys me the most? Xians tried to use the current events to argue that the EndTimes are coming. Actually, it is absurd. Earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes are very normal. These happened all over the place but for thousands of years, we do not know about 'em because we lacked the means to communicate. Today, we can report of a murder in Perth, Australia just like that. So this planet is not dead. It is very active. It has been moving its tectonic plate all over the world. Sometimes it is that strong, sometimes it is not that strong.

So when Pakistan got a 7.6 richter scale jolt today that resulted in thousands of deaths, don't be surprised to hear from Xians who will say, "See? It is very soon. Something will happen."

How do I respond to these ignorants? Of course, I smile and left them alone to their own imaginations. Better that way, I guess.

I'm out.

Cheers,

AIM, Mundey & Bradley

Rainy, Rainy Day! What a perfect setting for my mood today. After doing the daily sit-ups, I screamed with gibberish sounds at Roxy for trying to eat out of trash can. Then I tried to be "Mama" by shouting unverified sounds at Roxy -- you could see her closing her eyes as to say, "Okay, tone down the barbaric voice!"

Then I realized that my lower torso is very stiff, not from screaming obscenities at Roxy, but from doing the sit-ups every morning and night. I guess that is good sign. Can you imagine RT with 6 abs on his chest? Perhaps ...

I am glancing at the weather outside. It is gloomy, rainy -- exact what Philadelphia needed. Philadelphia has been very dry in the last 30 days.

AIM Is Back, but Very Spotty! My AIM is back. But it is very spotty. I'm good at doing things but with technical? Then I really needed Shannon or Christian to do the tricks. I'm not good with technical problems. If I suddenly signed off from AIM in the midst of conversation, it is technical problem, nothing personal.

What's Up With This, Scott? 4 years ago at Gallaudet, I was off from my duty as Resident Advisor and stood outside of Benson Hall Circle with Mark and Keith, chatting away about almost everything. Suddenly, a car pulled up. About 6 people came out -- I tried to greet Scott Bradley but he was furious. I noticed that other guys were in state of daze or shock. I noticed some scratches on their arms. I asked them what happened? One muttered that they just abandoned a jeep that crashed into some property not far from Gallaudet.

Of course, I was curious -- we zoomed and checked it out -- it was not bad, but the jeep got stuck when the huge fence literally wrapped itself on it.

Next day, Scott seemed to be back to normal and acted if it's no big deal. Impressive attitude. I like Scott. He is fun guy to hang out sometimes, really.

I got two sources from Gallaudet that indicated Scott was up to something once again -- The information mentioned that Scott Bradley jumped out of third floor building to avoid getting caught by the campus security. Scott, first of all, you aren't Superman! Second of all, many wanted to know why you did that?!

Getting Ready for Mundey's Party: The Halloween Party hosted by Kevin Mundey should be very interesting. I heard that Carl Way will be there. Guaranteed to have a drama to flare at the party. PJ said that few years ago, the same party had an incident related to the gunfire. But the party has been relocated to another place, though.

Either way, the party should be very interesting for me to observe but never to interfere ...

Bad News Is Forthcoming!

The Terror of Gus & Ridor! More than 24 hours has elapsed, some of you may notice that I am not even online at all. Well, something happened last night with this computer. It went out. Thanks to Eric via the videophone, I was able to fix most of things on this computer. What's wrong with this? Let's say ... it was overloaded with lots of things on it ... to a point where I cannot open an application at all. Not even AIM, AOL, Firefox ...

Today, my blood has been boiling all day long as I struggled to figure out what is wrong with this fucking computer. With Eric's tips, I was able to do from scratch. But by gods, I cannot open my gmail account nor AIM at all. So for the time being, my sole communication to the world is handled, believe it or not, through this medium.

So here are few messages for certain few:

PJ, Jason said that he does not have your email address -- he gets off from work at 5 PM, then he will pick me and Gus to head out to the party -- let's just meet at the party, since I could not access the AIM or GMAIL at all. I'm certain we'll have a good time at the party. So see you there along with your wife.

Jonathan, you better get ahold of JSA #78. I'll call you via the videophone on Saturday afternoon to arrange the time for us to meet during or right after the OutFest in Center City on Sunday, all right?

Joey, sorry I could not come back to talk wtih you bit longer on AIM -- but we always find the time to do that eventually.

That's it for now.

Not all Liberals Supported Palestinians: It is stupid of McWeenie to accuse the Liberals of supporting the Palestinians. Newsflash! Some Conservatives supported the Palestinians, so shut the fuck up.

Mordru Is Free! Yesterday afternoon, few hours before the computer kaboomed on us, Dylan IMmed me to let me know that Mordru freed himself in the Rock of Eternity and weakened the Wizard Shazam's magic in order to be vulnerable when The Spectre arrived to take care of him. I actually ordered Dylan to show me the book via the videophone so that I can see what the Wizard Shazam reacted when Mordru emerged from the Rock of Eternity -- Mordru condescendingly mentioned to the Wizard Shazam that he does not conjure magic like the Wizard does, he is pure magic. According to DC Comics' website, here is the line: Meanwhile, as the Spectre's rampage continues, the team's greatest enemy has found the opening he needs to destroy the JSA once and for all!

Of course, I'm thrilled. Who cannot love to hate Mordru?

19 Operatives Head Out to NYC Subway? According to the media, 19 operatives may target the NYC subway system. That did not surprise me at all. I expected it to happen. Perhaps it shall happen. Perhaps it won't. The worst thing about this is that if the bombings occurred in the subway systems, don't be surprised to see Debra Burlingame along with that gook, Michelle Malkin, trying to close the subway system to memorialize them in the process like they had been doing with the property at World Trade Center.

Debra, along with many conservative pig bloggers, managed to prevent the officials from proceeding to build the Tower at Ground Zero. They will not stop until they make the *whole* property a memorial site -- Hello, this is Lower Manhattan, not a cemetary! This is the world's financial district -- you want a cemetary? You can build one at Staten Island. It is shame that the non-NYC residents has a say in this process that affected none of them at all -- it will only affect the NYC residents, commuters and workers in the long run. The relatives of deceased 9/11 will disappear in 100 years -- in 200 years, the incident on 9/11 probably will become a footnote in world history. So no big deal. By trivializing on this subject repeatedly indicated that the terrorists won.

On a personal note for my dear friends: Perlis, Bianca, Regan, Beth, Sarah, Kaybee, Web, Ben and Corey along with few bloggers like DowntownLad & Joe of CutTheShit -- be wary, be cautious. I want you alive and in one piece. Try to avoid the subway system for few days, willja? And please let me know that you're OK should it happen in the subway, okay? Ben, I know we fought too many times but you know the truth -- we stick together all the time, through good and bad times. Naturally, you're still mine, Ben.

An Update About Taylor Behl: Remember I mentioned few days ago about the missing student at Virginia Commonwealth University which has lots of drama involved. They finally found her decomposed body 50 miles east of Richmond in Mathews County. The cops confirmed that it was her. Now, where is that girl in Aruba? Still swimming?

Ahh, back to fixin' this 'puter -- any volunteers to fix this computer would be appreciated, though.

10.5.05 Tidbits

How Typical of Pigs: I am not even surprised with this article. One time in 1992, there was a chain of automobile accident -- 5 cars were involved, I was 4th. The first one was drunk and slammed into 2nd, 2nd bumped into 3rd. The 3rd bumped lightly on mine and I knocked my father's truck on someone's van. Sure enough, the cops came. Interviewed all except me and told me to go home. I protested. He made a threat to arrest me. Due to my youth, I cowered and went home. Later, I went to the court, they said they do not need me anyway. Is this supposed to make me feel good or even proud to be American?

One time in '99, a certain person drove my friend's cherokee jeep on a wet road in Greenbelt, Maryland -- as soon as he turns left, somehow the jeep slipped to the left and crashed into a tree right next to the bank. Horror of horrors, many of us were drinking except for the driver, he was the designated driver. My friend panicked about the insurance. I told my friend not to worry because the driver is the designated one and the cops would probably understand.

Wrong.

The cops arrived and harassed us -- the fuckers screamed at Toby, Lee, Cody, Jeff, Manny, Tom, David of things -- one cop kept on pointing on his lips and screamed at us in front of us. I got fed up and decided to go after his name and badge number -- know what he did? He fucking covered his name and badge with his hand! I went after his patrol car's number -- suddenly, they realized that I meant business -- one female cop told me to relax as she instructed three police cars to leave the scene, leaving us to clean up the mess on the intersection. Sure enough, we drove the fucked-up jeep back to Gallaudet.

What did we learn about this? For sure, never to trust the pigs on simple things, they will fuck it up for you. They are not there to protect or serve us. They are there to protect their own interests. We meant nothing to them except that we annoy them with equal accessibility. Trust me, they viewed us as gnats to be swapped. And that was not any different in Ogden, Utah. But good for Terrance Cantrell to stand up for something he believes in. You go, girl! Hat tip to Philip for the link.

Gay Wedding in Pakistan? This is interesting. But it is not Islamic custom. It is Afghani custom, dated from Alexander the Great before the Bible was coined.

Python Eats Alligator Then Exploded! Weird but it happened ... four times!

Smart Move On Her Part: To protect herself, she has to call the cops. Can't blame her.

What Do I Think Of Harriet Miers? Actually, I'm wary of her. I never liked the name itself: The name, Harriet, always made me think that it is old maid or something like that. I read that Harriet Miers switched to Republican after "discovering Jesus". She is delusional to start with. And GW Bush said that she was the best he can find ... ? Let's face this -- his credibility is shot.

Spy At White House! It was reported on ABC NEWS that a former Marine working under the staff of Veep Dick Cheney is spying for The Philippines. What do you really expect anything from this administration?

Another Reason Not To Have A Baby: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is expecting one. Barf.

Classic Dumb Americans: This made me grin, no question about it. This proved one thing: Pretty boys, bois, twinks and Abercrappie & Bitch wannabes are dumber than rocks!

Cheers,

Outfest, Airline, Mundey and Marthinussen ...

What Is OutFest? OutFest, according to the limited information, is the festival in Philadelphia that celebrated the National Coming Out Day which occurs on October 11th. But the OutFest will happen on October 9th from 12 PM to 7 PM in Center City. It is the same place where Michael Marcavage of Repent America comes to protest every year with a passion.

But there is a problem. A friend of mine told me that Gallaudet football team, which is 4-0, is slated to play at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware on ... Sunday the 9th at 1 PM! Dilemma ... ? I choose OutFest because I probably will find a way to see Gallaudet football team play on October 22nd in D.C.

Airline Reality Show: Once in a while, I get to watch the reruns of AIRLINE on A&E Channel. I noticed the pattern -- the customers truly hated, bashed and attacked Southwest Airlines incessantly. When it comes to other airlines, people whined and criticized them at times. But when it comes to Southwest Airlines, they truly whined with a passion. And Southwest Airlines is still operating? Go figure.

Mundey's Halloween Party: Yeah, I got an invitation to that boy's Halloween Party this coming Friday. It should be interesting. I'll meet PJ and follow them to a town called Fishtown. It should be an interesting evening for me.

Berna & Her Dad! 5 years ago, Berna told me that her mother is the kind of person that would look down at people who are overweight. She warned me that her mother would give me the looks. When her mother got in town and I get to hang out with her for few days. She turned to Berna and said she loved my company and all that. Berna was flabbergasted and I glanced at her to make her feel flustered. That was 5 years ago or so.

Next weekend on October 14 - 16, Berna will drag her father from Bergen, Norway to DC, then to Philadelphia and New York. Berna mentioned that her father is a huge fan of ... that damned movie, ROCKY -- the same film that Roy Weintraub clamored for. I will take Berna and her father to the Art Museum in Downtown and take a stroll up the long steps and raised our fists into the chilly weather. Then we probably will hit 9th Street for some famous Cheesesteaks in South Philly.

Let's see if I managed to impress the descendants of barbaric Vikings one way or other. Either way, Berna has been always an entertaining factor in my college days. In fact, her father is the last member of her Marthinussen clan that I hadn't met -- I met her mother and her sister. If you thought Berna was very dramatic, you hadn't met her sister ... !

Ahh, it is nearly 4 AM -- tomorrow is a big day for me, time for me to hit the sack.

Cheers,

According to this website, I was heavily surrounded by Democrats with the likes of Hillary Clinton. Makes sense. I can see why I attack FagPatriot outright. That faggot needs to be put out of misery one way or other.
