AT Gallaudet, on Fridays, you'd find the batches of Washington Blade newspapers sitting somewhere in Ely Center (now the Student Union Building & Student Academic Center).
Occasionally, I'd pick it up on my way to the dorm -- honest to God, when I was a freshman, I would stand and wait until nobody is around -- I'd pull it in my backpack so fast that nobody will never realize that I did it. I did it every week to a point where picking it up without attracting anyone's attention was an art that I had mastered very well.
However, Washington Blade was the guide, like it or not, of tolerance and understanding of my identity -- that it's OK to love a man.
For years, I knew Washington Blade was bought by Windows Media -- the same company that owned several newspaers in New York, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale. Its Editor is none other than Chris Crain.
Some people cannot stand him because they said he censored the topics they wanted to cover. Some claimed that he protected and coddled the Roehmosexual like Ken Mehlman, who is the Chairman of Republicans National Committee, who can be seen at RESULTS, a gay gym in DC, quite frequently -- in fact, some claimed that you can watch Ken in action in the shower area.
Some said that Chris coddled and protected Ken because they went to the law school in Harvard University.
Either way, some people cannot stand Chris because of his ego. Some people said he's nice. I never met him. But I don't like Bruce Carroll and Ken Mehlman -- Chris Crain seemed, to me, to protect these Roehmosexuals.
Crain went to Amsterdam on his vacation with his boyfriend and was assaulted by Muslim Extremists. He was savagely beaten down by the Muslim thugs. You can see his picture right after the beatings.
The Netherlands seemed to have a wave of Muslim extremists targeting the same-sex couples. Most Muslims were brainwashed by its Clerics, just like the X-ians by their ministers and preachers in order to hate and vilify the gays and lesbians in general.
Perhaps it is time for The Netherlands to play a role of subjugating the Muslim clerics for spreading the seeds of hate. I'd wish the same thing for X-ians in this country but fat chance, really!
When I heard about Chris Crain getting beaten down, my first reaction was: Too fucking bad -- karma goes to people for what they protected and coddled people like Ken Mehlman, Bruce Carroll and others.
But the beatings itself is definitely wrong.

An Update with the Bergmans Murders
As some of you may know that two Deaf Bergmans are dead in Freedom, Pennsylvania after Marilyn and Steven Bergman were shot by Marilyn's brother, Tom Simich Jr., in front of the elder Simichs.

My good friend alerted me that she was a classmate of Marilyn at Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and she indicated that the family does not like to mention that Tom Simich Junior has been diagnosed with schizophrenia when he was 16 years old.
Perhaps that was the snap that pushed Tim over the edge when he realized that he might be relocated to a new surrounding that he was not familiar with -- the pressures of dealing with everything that is going to be new for him, he snapped and shot his sister and brother-in-law.
It is too bad that there are two persons who clamored for him to be tried for Death Penalty without knowing his history of mental illness. But what do you expect from fucktards, though?
I sincerely doubt that he will be prosecuted for death penalty since they will find out that he is schizpohrenic, he will be either placed in state hospital or maximum prison with medical care.
My condelences to the Bergmans, relatives and his friends in Pittsburgh and in Florida.
Update: McWeenie tried to ban me -- I can just hop on any library computer just to annoy him all the time if I want to. That fool will never admit that I'm better than he is -- that's why he has to lurk around my blog and spew his own rhetoric. Which is very amusing, to say the least!

So You Guys Will Know
Some asked me about whether if there is anything being done at Ground Zero where the World Trade Center was located at. Well, much of the area is cleaned. The temporary PATH Station is open. Its exterior design is gorgeous.
The planned-1,776-foot tall Freedom Tower was mired in a guagmire with the designers, feds, city officials et al about little things that might affect the "victims", the "workers", the "future employees" in regards to the safety issues, the memorial issues, the traffic issues -- you get the idea. It is bit strange to lag the process as the residents of New York has to wait for the officials to make it an official "go" to build the tower.
Meanwhile, there is one building that is almost completed -- the 7 World Trade Center, the only building that was not financed by the government. DowntownLad took a picture of this -- he is obviously skilled at taking pictures of buildings -- I know when I see one.

On your left side is the Ground Zero where World Trade Center used to reside. I get annoyed when some folks sell the 9/11 pictures on this particular area. On the right side of the picture with the strange design, that is the temporary PATH station -- PATH is the subway train link to New Jersey, totally separated from New York's own MTA Subway system. You could get off the MTA train and walk out of the station and into the PATH station and head down to Jersey City, though.
Not bad, eh?

I got 4 emails telling me that there is an article in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about a Deaf brother killing his Deaf sister and Deaf brother-in-law, check the Simich Drama out.
A Brief Note to Fucktard: NO, there won't be divisions between pro-Simich and anti-Simich like you both wanted it to be. It won't happen at all. Like Larry, I was at Gallaudet when the drama ensued with two murders, in fact, I was next to Jeff Carlson when they announced the identity of the murderer -- my first reaction was: Joseph Mesa, Jr who?
My second reaction was snickering at how the dumbass Provost Jane Fernandes jumped wildly on the stage -- so embarrassing.

Bombarded Him To His Death ... ?
Boynton Beach, Florida -- It was reported to me that a certain deaf elderly person died of heart attack a day after sustaining the barrage of offensive insults, slurs and demeaning comments during the committee meeting to finalize the plans to have the bowling tournament for the Deaf in West Palm Beach, Florida recently during the Easter weekend.
It was said that this particular person who died was not profilic in ASL, not familiar with Deaf Culture and was not exactly smart to begin with. But that did not stop Elmer from putting on an offensive campaign to demoralize his ASL and intelligence skills as well as crushed his self-esteem. Elmer ultimately punctured this misfortune person's heart to a point where this person died of heart attack the next day.
The rumors, of course, went as far as Seattle, Boston and to Los Angeles and came back with the question: Did Elmer cause him to have an untimely heart attack in the process? It was said among the Deaf elders that they considered Elmer to be the "murderer with words". This particular person, Elmer, has a reputation of being abrasive and mean at times.
Any thoughts on this subject?
