Last night in East Village, Eddie and I arranged to meet at The Cock. It is my first time to be at The Cock in weeks and I hadn't seen Eddie in months. So we had a lengthy conversation to catch up.
You know, typical deaf gossips and all that.
Eddie is about 6'1 tall and very thin like a pencil. When the bar closed at 4 AM, we chatted on the way to the subway station. Eddie pleaded, "Since you went to DC last October, tell me what's happening in DC??"
I yapped on few superficial things to mention -- then I said, "You know Rico?"
Eddie nodded, "That guy from The Netherlands?"
I nodded, "He has a new boyfriend."
Eddie snickered as we walked across the street, "Who?"
I grinned, "Are you sure you want to know?" Eddie slapped my back so hard that I leaped ahead of him and said, "Ben Lewis."
Still in the middle of the intersection, Eddie lost his balance and crashed on the road. Then got up quickly -- "Are you fucking serious?"
"Yes."
Eddie roared with laughter.
I love this stuff -- people's reactions to things. It is hilarious. It is addictive.

It Is That Time Of The Year

In Morganton, North Carolina: the North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSD) hosted the 53rd Mason-Dixon Tournament for Boys Basketball. Virginia exceeded what I did not expect as they opened with a 50-point loss to Tennessee in the first round, 78-28. This sent the undermanned Virginia team to the losers' bracket and played against Eastern North Carolina.
Virginia shocked Eastern North Carolina with a 67-66 overtime upset and advanced to play against Florida for a chance to play for 5th-6th Place out of 11-team tournament. Virginia lost, 43-29.
As always, Mississippi marched straight to the Championship Game but the surprising team of the year should be South Carolina, though.
In Knoxville, Tennessee: Tennessee School for the Deaf (TSD) -- where my cousin's daughter, Tori is attending along with my buddy who works there -- David Spillers. TSD is hosting the 28th Annual Mason-Dixon Tournament for Girls Basketball.
Virginia Cardinals, thanks to Kim Fuller's disappearance, did not do well in the first round as they got clobbered by Georgia, 63-22 and was sent to the Losers Bracket. They squared off against the Eastern North Carolina and won, 34-18 to advance against North Carolina.
This morning, they shocked North Carolina, 35-34 to advance to the 5th-6th Place. The game will be played at 3:30 PM.
This marked the first time that Virginia gets to be in the Top Six since 1987, I believe. Good job, Yesi Andersen.

Be Wary of Ricky Vandal
I was alarmed to learn that a person by the name of Ricky Vandal, originally from The Netherlands, is starting a trend that might confuse the Blog readers.
According to the sources, he is a frequent member of The Free Republic, a conservative forum that spews plenty of homophobic comments. In other words, Ricky is conservative, Republican and homophobic to start with.
Apparently, Ricky Vandal created several blogs, impersonating different persons' names including Bill Clinton -- in other words, a fucking Conservative Republican is impersonating as a Democrat trying to turn off the Democrats with its false messages and hopefully, will drive them to be a Conservative Republican in the end.
Ricky Vandal is one pitiful character. But again, I'm appalled that none of conservatives wanted to touch it -- as if it never existed. It is one of their Characteristic traits -- if one of them fucked it up, they reject this person and claim that "he is not conservative, he is someone's group!" then acted as if this particular person never existed.
But that is not the point here. My point is to warn the readers to be wary of people like Ricky Vandal who is Conservative Republican who has nothing better than to attack the Democrats or Liberals for doing what they believed in.
It is ironic that the Conservatives and Republicans claimed that they are all for personal beliefs -- but it is just the words. It is not done by actions -- all they did was bash, twist the lies and used its manipulation skills to fool the masses. It is unbelievable to observe.
Care to defend yourself, my dear conservative ND30? No?

Wojnar Should Check His Penis Out
I stumbled upon an article. And I joked with a friend about this -- maybe Wojnar should check his penis out to make sure that he's OK.
Actually, I find it very somewhat discomforting. There are guys that I cannot spring a boner -- I mean, he's not attractive. I just can't do it. Does that means I'm one of 'em?
I dunno. But this is interesting and amusing -- perhaps, enough for DowntownLad and DefBef to respond to the allegations? ;-)

This Is Ridiculous
Is it me or that College Republicans, Conservatives and X-ians are getting lame or what?
C'mere. C'mon. Come here. Why did we have Gay Pride Week, Parade, March and/or Festival? It is because we are a minority. Less than 10% of the society are GLBTIWSDCVDSDFWEXCFLKSDFJSDFKSH. Ok, maybe 15%. But it is to be publicly acknowledged that we exist. That there are still struggles to overcome.
As for straight guys and gals who does not face a struggle when it comes to your feelings for the opposite sex, not at all. Why do you feel so threatened by us to a point where the College Republicans decided to host the Straight Pride Week?

The College Republicans in UNT also organized the event called, "Seize the Illegal Immigrant Day". First this, and now "Straight Pride Week"?
Honest to God, you straight men lacked the creativity. You had to look at us in order to elevate your egotistic pride.
My little flea-minded Republicans, Conservatives and X-ians: Grow up.
