One of the "prestigious" gym in New York, David Barton Gym, which is owned by David Barton, a heterosexual married man living in Miami is located in Chelsea.
Like many gym in New York, gay sex seems to be rampant in gym, much to my disgust. My friend claimed that he was shocked to see two gay guys fucking on the top of the lockers at NYSC Gym because on the top of lockers, you could get fucked and watch the front door opening or not -- if it opens and someone who works for the gym, one can jump off the top of the lockers and act as if nothing happened. My friend dressed up after a workout and noticed the fall of the opened condom bag landing on the floor. He turned upwards and his eyes nearly popped out when he saw two legs in the air as another guy humped between the flying legs.
Perhaps, the only nicest place I can think of any gymnasium is Equinox -- they literally enforced the rules by sending the workers in the locker rooms every 5 to 8 minutes, either to clean up or monitor the rooms.
But NYSC, they don't give a shit. I know because I visited.
However, for David Barton Gym, it costs $950 annual membership fee. It claims to be all that luxury for a simple gymnasium -- this gymnasium is located in the same building where the famous song about YMCA Village Boys were inspired. IN fact, it used to be the YMCA before it was converted into David Barton Gym.
Yes, Dylan, Manny and Toby -- this was the same building that all of us took our showers when we first visited New York.
However, a heterosexual man was fed up with David Barton Gym's lackadaisal efforts to reduce the rampant of gay sex in the gym so he is suing for $25K. Good for him. I just think that these fags needed to get a life.
P.S. David Barton is straight? Married? But look at the picture, for God's sake. He is so fag as things go by.
Update: Remember the scene in "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Evertyhing, Julie Newmar" where RuPaul made an appearance on the stage to announce the winner of Miss New York Pageant and the boy in chains walked shirtless to RuPaul. RuPaul catcalled, "I do not know who he is, but if there is a snowstorm tonight, he's going to be on my tires." People erupted in cheers. That boy in chains is David Barton.

Stupid Principal, Stupid Teacher and Stupid Homophobes
I'm proud of four students who did something positive and they got suspended for this -- it is shameful that the school did not cover the graffiti in the first place and forced the students to do something about it.
The school should suspend itself for being inactive in the first place.
Bet you a dollar or two that the guy from Rhyhtm With Right (RWR) will say that it is justified punishment for four students to put something positive on the graffiti to dispel the homophobia in the school system.

HIV Rises In Red States
According to the article, you are better off living in Costa Rica or in some South American country than in Durham, North Carolina because of HIV infections.
Between 2001 to 2003 (Hint: Bush Administration), 36 percent rises in the state of North Carolina.
Among the high rates of HIV infections are Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and North Carolina because it lacked the means to reach men who do not think they are gay but have sex with men anyway. They are often called as "Down Low" -- most men claimed that they do fuck but do not kiss, that automically made them not gay or bisexual at all. Why? Fear. From whom? The society that viewed homosexuality in a negative manner.
So these occurred in where? Red states. Think about it. The Republicans! The Xians! The Conservatives -- who claimed to have the best solutions in many things -- but guess what? Their solutions failed miserably.
I stopped caring about the Southerners' problems since they favored conservatives, Republicans and Bush policies -- do I care? Let them rot under the banner of Jesse Helms country.

RAD & CMRA For Whom? Themselves
To quote the infamous comment by Jeff Gannon, the Capital Metropolitan Rainbow Alliance "who seem to have divorced themselves from reality," when it comes to host the national conference for Deaf GLBTs in Washington, DC this coming July 19-23, 2005.
Why? There are numbers of reasons. Lack of information. An abrupt change of hotel which moved from Thomas Circle which is very close to DuPont Circle to Downtown which is pretty far away from any gay bars/clubs. Using the Metro? Yeah, right ... during the weekdays, it closed earlier, which is not good for us all.
To clear up the confusion, the conference is on July 19 to 23 -- which means "Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday" -- that is five nights.
Prior to my first visit to 2001 RAD Conference in Seattle, they had a website with counter to let us know how many people had registered -- in fact, it has a record-breaking of more than 500 registered a month before the conference started. The cost of registration for a combo ticket in Seattle was $175, I believe.
Now it is $350 for a combo ticket with lack of information on what kind of workshops and all that shit -- by that, it is absurd. It sends a ripple effect on the Deaf GLBTs across the country -- I asked a friend in Atlanta, few friends in Philadelphia, few friends in New York, one friend in Los Angeles and one in Phoenix -- that is the total of 10 friends that I asked out of curiosity, only 2 will go. None will pay for the combo ticket at that price -- one said that the website on RAD.org and deafCMRA.org lacked the comprehensive information on specific things that might attract people to come to Washington for 19th Biennial conference.
I even asked one particular person who is involved with the committee about the numbers of persons that already registered -- he refused to identify and said that we could "find out" when we are there.
Such a baloney way to hook up the bait -- it indicated that the numbers of registrants are low.
It seemed to me that the Committee has not considered the facts that the economy in the last few years are shitty to start with, not many people got to have the pay raise and all that. But that does not matter to the RAD Board and the Committee at all.
They went ahead and reserved the Conference at Grand Hyatt Hotel that costs $179 per night plus tax. Make it $200 per night for five nights = $1000. This is a hotel with no swimming pool. I can find a hotel $99 in Thomas Circle with a swimming pool!
Plus $350 for combo ticket. Total is $1,350. Not only that, remember many people will fly over. Some costs as low as $200, some costs as high as $800, especially with the ones who came from Europe, Asia and Australia! That is nearly or over $2,000 in total just to get in RAD 2005 Conference -- that is with only 3 MEALS for the whole week! Not to mention that we'd have to shed more money on food and drinks for our own time as well as checking out with the International Deaf Leather and Deaf Cub & Bear contest ($30).
The truth is that it is all bullshit.
In fact, I will go no matter what but I am not going to buy the combo ticket. I will pay $20 for registration, $75 for Miss RAD Pageant/Buffet -- that's it. The rest can kiss my ass. I plan to attend the International Deaf Leather & Deaf Cub & Bear contest as well!
I asked one person who is involved with the committee to explain the reasons and to find the solution, he declined and kept on saying, "whatever" when I pointed out the issues that seemed to be ridiculous. I may come across as blunt and may be perceived as rude but the whole point is not about rudeness or how one worked hard for this -- but how can it benefits us all?
Basically, I checked with few friends of mine -- they said that they will come down to RAD for two nights only (Friday and Saturday) and won't pay the combo ticket. One chuckled, "Fuck 'em, they think they're above us."
The Conference was supposed to be at Washington Plaza Hotel, the gay-friendly hotel by Thomas Circle which has easy access to 4 gay bars and a brief stroll to 17 Street bars. The Committee refused to say why they changed the hotel, they kept on saying "It did not work out, it did not work out."
The Washington Plaza Hotel may not have enough rooms, there are 5 hotels right around Thomas Circle and on Massachusetts Avenue -- Wyndham Hotel, Courtyard Marriott, Holiday Inn and Carylyle Suites Hotel. They are all within less than 5 minute of walk to the Washington Plaza Hotel should the RAD Conference held at that place. The best part of all is that this particular hotel has a swimming pool! I want to get drunk and swim as well! I did before and it was hysterical!
I thought I planned to go for the whole week -- I decided to trim down to Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And guess what? I am going to pay only $95 for that shit and I'm going to work with a friend of mine to reserve a room in Thomas Circle or DuPont Circle -- who wants to catch dead in Grand Hyatt Hotel, the same hotel where the former Mayor Barry was caught for doing the crack?
Again, the RAD Board and the CMRA Committee is obviously divorcing themselves from reality -- it is not about me, when I thought it was bit odd, I asked around for their opinions -- most echoed the same sentiments but were afraid to question this to the committee because they knew they would be defensive with unruly comments. It is about how many perceived the RAD like that. Too fucking bad.

Many of you will never forget the infamy on that particular date -- especially with 9/11/01 -- but what about September 11, 1857?
There was another religious fundamentalists that attacked Americans and killed 120 people including women and children. Where did it happen? Mountain Meadows in the southwestern part of Utah. Killed by whom? Christian fundamentalists whom many of us referred as the Mormons or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Brigham Young denied telling the Mormons to kill the Americans who were on their way to California from Arkansas. Brigham Young was very Xenophobic -- why people still clamored for Steve Young, the great grandson of Brigham Young who played for San Francisco 49ers is beyond me. I have a friend in Chicago who claimed that he occasionally fucked Steve Young but I digress!
But there are evidence that implied that Brigham Young's secret police ordained the killing of 120 people on September 11, 1857. The ones who did the killings practically never suffered a day in the prison for many years. The Mormons exonerated the blame on themselves by blaming it on John D. Lee, which the Church of LDS claimed was doing by himself.
Much of the punishment towards the not-so-innocent folks were largely ignored. Brigham Young was never scorned, bashed or bombed.
IN fact, it was no secret that Abraham Lincoln ordered the Union soldiers to put the cannons right across the street from Brigham Young who was ordered to be house arrested during the Civil War -- should if the Mormons decide to revolt against the American Government, Abe only has to say "fire away" -- and boom! Brigham Young would fucking be dead!
I may sound like a bastard when it comes to this but the killing of 120 people who were merely on their way to California was wrong. Nothing was being done -- It is evident that people in Utah were protecting each other from being prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I regarded Brigham Young as one of the worst leaders in the American History -- married countless of women ... it was an act of shame and pardon me ignornace, why is the university named after one of the polygamist shithead?
Folks in Utah must have eat too much mushrooms to receive the imaginative rules from some hocus pocus angel that they can fuck a little girl over there on the corner of D Street and 2nd Avenue!
