In Remembrance Of My Cousin

Lillian Elizabeth Wilkerson Wynn.

In 1980s, lots of people were afraid if people with HIV/AIDS (also known as PWA) but not my cousin.

She worked and pushed through with HIV/AIDS education - I remembered when she talked about it when I was a child.

May she Rest In Peace, cousin.

Lillian Elizabeth Wilkinson Wynn

August 5, 1946 - April 3, 2023

Born in Raleigh NC on August 5, 1946 as a 3 pound baby to Late Arthur M. Wilkinson Jr and the late Mary E. Pool Wilkinson, she attended Virginia School for the Deaf then moved to North Carolina School for the Deaf in 1958 and graduated in 1966. Surrounded by family, she passed peacefully in her home on April 3, 2023.

She rejoiced being reunited with her husband of 55 years, Monroe “Roe” G Wynn, her parents and son in law, Robert McMillan and many loved ones who have departed.

Left to remember her - two daughters Mary (Jerry “Bucky”) Carver and Sandra (“Sandy”) McMillan; three grandchildren Justin Carver, Avery (Mauri), Johnston-Wynn and Ryan Carver; and great grandchildren, Jaxon, special great grandsons, Kapton and Maximus Cruz; a host of cousins and special friends Bobbie and Paul Clayton Jr.

Lillian worked as a supervisor at National AIDS Hotline for Deaf for 5 years in RTP area before moving to Clinton, TN in 1993. She was always making crafts, especially her love for filet crocheting making namesakes, socializing with deaf people at many places, being one of the leaders striving for empowerment and growth in deaf communities in different states over the years. She loved her family very much and cherished every family gathering.

Lillian and Roe will be buried at Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh NC, graveside services are pending at this time.

The family expresses our gratitude to her medical team at McNeeley Family Clinic and Clinch River Davita Dialysis and Amedisys home care nurse, Candi for the care she received.

Renca Dunn Is All That

 I'm not sure on why many of you followed or liked Renca Dunn. She has demonstrated herself as Christofascist, homophobe, elitist, tumblrina and antisemitic.

Not only that, she also worked for The Daily Moth who engaged in inaccurate information from time to time.

Christofascist? Well, she worked for Deaf Missions to produce the so-called "Jesus" film which is designed to proselytize and promote her faith.

Homophobe? She partnered with the Vichs family who made several homophobic vlogs with the assistance of Patrick McMullen (who himself i
s self-loathing, closeted gay man). The Vichs made money off from exploiting their children for clicks and likes.

Elitist? I met her only once at Youth Leadership Camp's 50th Anniversary and she was pretty hostile to me (I assume because of my reputation) but I also observed her at two different times, it turns out that she does mingle with the ones who are well known for being elitist.

Tumblrina? Google it up. 'nuff said. She would claim to be supportive of women's rights, gay rights and blah. But she is very good friends with one person who married a violent sex offender and she's pretty casual about it. As long as that person's wife is her friend.

And lastly, antisemitic? She was silent about the eradication of Jewish kibbutzim in southern Israel on 10-7. She never condemned the attacks by Hamas *and* Gazans with violent actions. And antisemitism has risen 700% in this country with pro-Palestinian protesters bullying, attacking and harassing the Jews and Jewish students who has nothing to do with Israel's decisions - where was Renca? She said nothing. What did she do next? She promoted a business by Deaf woman in West Bank (not in Palestine).

See the difference? Renca used the word, Palestine instead of West Bank or Gaza - which indicated that Renca supported the Palestinian's actions from day one.

So I am not sure why you people are friends or liked her? Where is your sense of principles? Oh, that's right, you have none.

Deaf Snowmobile Weekend '23

 What can I say about this weekend? It is not even over. It is extremely erratic but the way it works, I'm all down for it. 

This year, 2023, marked the largest group ever. 22 participants - 15 men, 6 women and 1 child. 

Never did I have a child participate in this event. Absolutely awesome. You won't hear any complaint from me on this.

Largest group came from Minnesota which I must admit I lost the count. They were all great.

Yesterday was the first time that I had a full day of snowmobiling without any stop - in the last 4 years (sans the COVID year), we usually had like 3-4 hours of snowmobiling *and* swimming time.  But this time, the swimming experience is excluded. What a difference. The entire day, even if you're tired - you have to be on your toes all the day long. Many of us are exhausted except for the Deaf experienced snowmobilers.

My eternal gratitudes go to the experienced snowmobilers who were able to share their experiences so we can ... survive in some capacity.

Oh, yeah, Sandy flipped into the downhill. Haha.

It is Time To Take It Down

In Boise, Idaho, there is a big cross on Table Rock Mountain just above the downtown.  It is hideous. It is ugly.

It was created to subjugate the LGBT Community in Boise. It all started in 1955. The local newspaper, Idaho Statesman, was the one who riled it up and escalated to a point where it destroyed more than 100 men's livelihoods based on what? Rumors. That they were gay. Many lives were ruined, courtesy of that local papers.

Go to Hulu and watch "The Fall of 1955" which explained everything about what is wrong with Boise. 

Eventually, Idaho Statesman, the state's prominent newspaper apologized for what they did. But the damages and the ramifications were awful as fuck.

In 1956, the local organization whom I do not WANT to name because they are so stupid to begin with - they bought a tract of land on Table Rock Mountain and built a fucking cross to remind the folks that the LGBTs are not welcomed in this town. 

It is time to take it down. Knock it down. Destroy that damned ugly cross down.

That cross is what prevented Boise from going forward and rocket as one of All-American cities. Right now, that cross is stifling the city.

So ... take it down, folks.

Good Riddance, Darya Dugina!

 Darya Dugina was killed in an automobile blast last night in Russia. She was the vocal daughter of Aleksandr Dugin who felt that Russia should rule the world and viewed Ukraine as subhumans. Not only that, Aleksandr's book argued that the only way to keep Americans out is to create the social discords to divide the communities into extremist groups. 

Which is working since we are witnessing the appearances of extremist groups in the United States, perpetuated by the Russian Orcs led by Putin and his cohorts.

My response to the news when Darya Dugina was blown apart is like The Child's demonic laughter. 

Well done, whoever took her down!

About Ben Affleck's Wedding with Jennifer Lopez

 They had a massive wedding at Hampton Islands near Savannah, Georgia. If you dig up the information on Hampton Islands, it is a plantation. 

Before the name was renamed, it was South Hampton Plantation which means what? It used to have slaves where the white families bought, sold, divided, abused, raped and murdered the slaves over the long period of time until the Civil War ended.

I grew up in Virginia not far from dozens of plantations in Virginia such as Westover, Shirley, Weston Manor, Appomattox Manor, Edgewood, Berkeley, Greenway, Brandon, Chippokes, Bacon's Castle, Sherwood Forest, Belle Air, Evelynton, Flowerdew Hundred, Kippax, North Bend, Kittiewan, Piney Grove at Southall, Smith's Fort, Four Mile Tree and Merchant's Hope to name few.

Seeing people trying to have their weddings or parties at these facilities bothered me to no end. They are mostly white people with privilege who thought it was romantic to have these milestone events at the places that enslaved the people that were imported from Africa. The idea of having a wedding at these places is revolting, to say the least.

Can you imagine having a wedding at Auschwitz Concentration Camp? Of course not, the world would be outraged but having weddings or milestone events at these plantations seems to be alright to many.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez apparently thought it was beautiful and romantic to have their wedding at a plantation in Georgia.

Disgusting.

Kevin Newcomb Did Do Nothing Wrong

 Kevin Newcomb was fired as a firefighter in Miami, Florida for telling the truth about the idiotic police officers. Miami Fire Department and its union is trying to portray Kevin in bad light after the local police officers whined about what Kevin said. 

Kevin simply said he did not care whether if the cops die or not. These days, these corrupt cops refused to wear the masks or get vaccinated against the COVID19 and continue to risk the others with their arrogance. Not only that, we all knew the folks associated with law enforcement will always protect each other even if they did do wrong things to anyone else in particular. 

We all knew that the majority of cops are racists and they often berated the firefighters and EMTs (Remember the incident in Dallas and Louisville?) who were doing their jobs by saving people's lives whether if they were accused of something, their job is to save the lives but that does not matter to the cops. 

Not a long time ago, there was a video that clearly showed Miami Beach Police officers brutalizing not only one but several people who witnessed the assault. And guess what? The city was outraged but these officers? They banded together and supported each other. Even their union defended them. They deflected and put the blame on others for not "cooperating".

So when Kevin the firefighter told the truth about what's going on with the cops in Miami area, he did not tell a lie. He was 100% right on the target. What he said was not racist, homophobic or sexist, he simply told the truth. Police officers and its supporters were outraged by his truth so they raised a fuss enough to get him to lose his job as a firefighter. 

Oh, yeah, many cops are Conservatives & Republicans as well. Remember the Republicans cried about the cancel culture?  Now who's doing the cancel culture?  

Fuck the police, 'nuff said.
