TPC's Phony Reporting

ThePrecinctChair claimed that it is 18-0 which many states voted in favor of gay marriage bans across the nation. 18-0?

I doubt so. California already defeated the bill. So does Massachusetts. So does Minnesota. And I believe Oregon, too. But that does not matter to TPC as long as it goes in his favor to skim a white lie on the information.

Ahh.

On another hand, I'm heading out for the day with S, then will head up to meet some deaf folks from the United Kingdom -- should be interesting evening. Of course, I secretly am hoping to bump into this woman or anyone that might know this woman.

Todd & I

In a comic book, The Uncanny X-Men, where Storm met Jean Grey for the first time in more than 20 years (Storm thought Jean Grey died during the Jamaica Bay Disaster but she was never dead), Jean Grey was in a group called X-Factor as they squared off against the members of The Uncanny X-Men who thought X-Factor was a hunting group to imprison mutants. Jean Grey was fighting Rogue when a strong hurricane wind blew Jean into the sky to face Storm. Storm calmly asked, "Is it you?"

Jean Grey said, "The only 'me' that ever was."

Storm responded, "I saw you go to your death."

Jean shot back, "I saw you die in Dallas. I guess that makes us even. Question is, does that make us 'us'?"

Storm slowly smiled, "It is good to ... see you alive, Jean. I missed you so."

Storm and Jean embraced as Jean muttered, "Yeah. I know, Ororo. Me, too."

Yes, it is no secret that my first love was Todd who is (was?) hearing person.

ON another hand, there is another Todd that I loved as well, this time -- he is Deaf. My affection for Todd Newman is simply platonic. When I first met Todd Newman, Todd happened to live across from my dormitory bedroom in college days. We always played NBA Live '## all the time, sometimes resulted in bitter fights between us. At times, when I lost a game to Todd, I would try to avoid looking at Todd because he would smirk in a discrete manner to taunt me, if I saw it, I lost the temper. Same thing goes for him with me but I was more abrasive, I think as I mocked him in his face, trying to make him lose his tempers. It is not easy to make him lose a temper but very few times, I managed to make him lose.

Todd's girlfriend but now currently his wife moaned when we got in silly fights, "My god, you guys have to be brothers or something!"

Todd and I became close friends over the years. Never had a thing for him, many gay guys think he is hot. I do not think he is, though. I love him like a brother -- Todd is just a great guy to hang out, talk and do nothing. Great person to be friends with for a lifetime. Dyan, too. I loved their kids -- Tayla and Thor. For the last 11 years, I still treasure and cherish the special friendship with Todd & Dyan.

Todd's parents are charming fellas. Todd's sister, Tammy is great, too. I was humbled when Tammy surprised me with the complete set of The Atlantis Chronicles. I absolutely loved the Newmans family, no question about it.

I hadn't seen Todd in almost two years, I probably will feel like Storm when I see Todd once again in the short future. It is no secret that I certainly miss Todd very much.

I was enamored when I learned of Tammy's xanga which contained the picture of Todd and Dyan. Todd, you look good as ever. Dyan, you look gorgeous as ever.

Gorgeous Dyan and Hunk Todd

Smooch you both, Todd & Dyan. And Tammy!

One of my favorite stories happens to be about Dyan and his father. Todd and I was in Georgia for his wedding.

I remarked that Dyan's father is the only male figure in her family household -- Dyan has mother, two sisters and a father -- that is 3:1 ratio. In addition, Dyan's older sister has a daughter and at that time, Dyan has Tayla -- that made 5 to 1 in the whole household. It was interesting ratio so I mentioned it to Dyan's father in front of Angie and Todd.

Dyan's father responded eloquently, "I know, I'm blessed to be surrounded by beautiful women."

Todd and I snickered loudly as Angie goes, "Awww, Dad!"

Truer words were never spoken, old man.

Hail To Eric Berndt

Eric Berndt, the law student at New York University, is great! I do not know who he is but I absolutely thought he was great! Know why? He asked the bold question to the conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in front of the closed-door Q&A session with NYU law students.

Eric shocked the audience with a question which Antonin Scalia refused to answer, "Do you sodomize your wife?"

Utterly brilliant!

If he refused to answer, it means that the question is purely private between two consenting persons -- thus making Justice Antonin Scalia's dissent that the Supreme Court should not overturn the Lawrence v. Texas look ridiculous as ever!

Way to go, Eric!

Back to St. Paul, Minnesota

Republican State Senator Michele Bachmann tried to endorse the state amendment to ban the gay marriage in Minnesota which was defeated.

There was a rally in the State Capitol. One blogger took pictures of pro-gay rally around the grounds, one state capitol staff approached the blogger and asked him, "Wanna really piss someone off?"

The staff told the blogger that Michele Bachmann was hiding behind the bushes at the far end of the rally, watching the whole thing. Of course, the pictures were snapped.

Find She-Waldo in this!

Enjoy the pictures by Matt of Minneapolis!

The Kitchen

I visited this forum and I believed that I shall return frequently as possible.

Why is it called The Kitchen? Probably because of the kitchen table along with better light for Deafies to chat and mellow -- it is much easier to dine, play games and debate under bright light.

The website is http://thekitchen.forumer.com -- only for Deaf QLBTIQ and what next?

Great job, Clitch and Litch!

I did not include Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia -- Mexico and Canada, too.

Perhaps next time, when I feel like it.

Minnesota Republican Is Gay

Once again, Mike Rogers drove Minnesota Republican Paul Koering out of the closet. Again, he is Republican conservative who consistently voted against the gay rights. Such a self-loathing fella, is it?

I'm sick of people like Paul who said that being gay does not have to do with the public, it is personal. It is NOT. Being deaf is my identity, I cannot hide it. I try to make it personal but it is not. Same thing goes for African Americans, they will not say that it is personal thing. It has much to do with how they viewed things in life.

Obviously, Paul Koering hated himself so much that he is willing to discriminate others for what he is.

It was nice of Mike Rogers to make Paul Koering see the way it is in the real world, Mike actually helped him out in the process.

And when I read his comments about his frustrations, I admitted that I chuckled. Is it bit funny when he said this line, “There were nights that I would finish milking and I would go to bed and I would cramp up – I would almost cry myself to sleep,” -- this sounds so gay.

Sorry -- am curious to see Clyde, Sonny, Lisa and Kathy's reactions on their homestate's state senator being gay.
